Is it ok to text, email or call a guy after a first date?

In my opinion, it's ok to text, email or call a guy after a first date to say thank you especially if he paid for the date. keep it brief and let him know you had a good time. Guys like to feel appreciated; just don't be pushy and wait for him to call you the next time.
